Meet Tonya, The Heart Behind Well Rounded Events
Hey there! I’m Tonya, for as long as I can remember, my kitchen – no matter how small, has been the center of every gathering, from joyful celebrations to quiet moments. If there’s one thing I know, food brings people together whether you are happy, sad, conducting business, happy hour forgetting business or hosting a football watch party, food is always at the center of it all. In my 40+ years in the hospitality industry, I spent the last decade as the Director of Catering for Garozzo’s Ristorante and executed somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,000 events from small intimate gatherings of 10 to 650-person dinners and wouldn’t change it for the world. The knowledge I gained, the people I met along the way mixed in with family and friends is how Well Rounded Events came to be. I love having friends stop by and creating snacks to throwing a party for 250 of my closest friends, so why not create a company that allows others to do the same!
Why We’re Different
At Well Rounded Events, we’re all about celebrating all of life’s moments—big or small—without costing you an arm and a leg. Most catering companies won’t touch small events, but that’s exactly where we shine. We can also do a bougie grazing table for 300, a buffet for 100, Family Style of Plated, but what really excites us are gatherings where connections are made over great food.
Good food, a little twist here and there, and reasonable prices—that’s our recipe for making your event one to remember.
How I Got Here & Why I Love a Good Party
Funny story: I once catered my own five-year high school reunion and swore I’d never cater again. It was exhausting! But life has a funny way of bringing you full circle, right? After years of working in restaurants (and climbing my way through college), I landed as the Director of Catering at Garozzo’s for 11 years. I knew nothing about catering when I started, but by the end, I’d executed thousands of events—and I guess I was hooked!
Hospitality’s always been in my blood, and I’ve always loved bringing people together. Whether it’s Halloween parties for 200, Christmas open houses for 100, Super Bowl parties, or just a regular Thursday, my motto is "Sure, come on over!" At the end of the day, it’s all about sharing food and making memories. And that’s exactly what Well Rounded Events is here to do—for whatever reason (or no reason at all).
